How to make money while studying

The school playground, especially in large schools, is a good place for trade. Children routinely exchange all manner of items on the playground. If school rules permit, it might be possible to sell sweets, chocolate, or any kind of product your fellow students might be interested in, and you might have found a way to increase your pocket change.

Steps

1
Choose your products. Consider which are the most popular things in your school? Make a long list of items in a notebook. You may only choose a few this week, but you might decide to expand your business in the coming weeks.

2
Purchase your supplies. You must realize that you have to sell products for more than what you get at shops, to actually make a profit. But this can be hard. The cheapest places are corner shops, or any small shop that not many people go to. Check the place out first, because you don't want to get supplies from a place that is actually popular among students.

3
Set prices for all your products. Consider this very carefully. You must increase the price over retail in order to make a profit, but if you offend your customers, they might not come back even if you drop the price. Likewise, raising prices can offend customers. You might allow them to dicker with you, or you might be firm in your prices. One place to start might be a comparison of retail prices at the grocery store with the prices you see in the vending machines. Somewhere between those two prices should be just right.

4
Have change ready. Go to the bank and get plenty of cents, quarters, dimes and nickels. You don't want to be given a $5 bill, and not have the change.

5
Invite customers. Start with a few, then they'll tell their friends about you. Let your popularity grow slowly.

6Keep your money safe. Get a wallet or a piggy bank to store your profits.

Tips

  • If the money you are making is going to charity, ask a teacher about opening your business, it's likely they'll let you borrow a table and set up your own stand, as well as letting you advertise around school. If it isn't, don't let any teachers find out. Ever. Or you'll be in big trouble.
  • Remember to have plenty of stock; you don't want to sell-out one day.
  • Don't reveal too much about your business to your customers. Don't reveal where you bought your items, how much you paid for them, or how much profit you're making.
  • Consider this a serious business. You could learn a lot of things that will come in useful when you set up a real business later in life.
  • If your parents own any sweet shop or news stand, ask them to get cheap supplies from a cash-and-carry. This will greatly reduce price, increase popularity, and increase profit.
  • Be prepared for competition. If someone sells the same products as you for a cheaper price, lower your prices, but never dip below your cost ever.
  • If a rival does get more popular than you, and charges so little that you can't compete, try a new product for awhile, but keep your stock if you can for when he runs out.
  • Advertise. But advertise in a way that isn't actually 'advertising', if you understand the metaphor. You don't want any negative attention from rivals.
  • Get a partner to help you.

How To Remember Important Things

Are you one of those people who always forgets things? Do you have something vital that you really need to remember, and don't want to forget? Well, read this article and that will, hopefully, never happen again!

  1. Make a song. Write a song to help you remember important information! This works great with locker combinations, passwords, PINs, etc. If you learn a song, you'll tend to sing it, and thereby be reminded whilst singing!
  2. Have reminders. Have friends or relatives remind you every once in a while! Make sure that they're good at remembering things, too.
  3. Do things that reflect on what you're trying to remember while you still remember.
  4. If it's vital you shouldn't really forget, (it's probably impossible to forget exciting things) but if you do, have many backup plans. If it's minor, then have one or two reminders.
  5. Get a sticky note and stick it on the bathroom wall at your eye level when you're going to the bathroom. During this short period of time you get bored and since you have nothing better to do you will look around and read the note. This is particularly effective since people go to the bathroom several times a day.
  6. If you happen to remember something, like if you have to put a book in your backpack, then do it at that moment, because you will forget later.

Tips

  • Try making a little notice board (perhaps better in your own room).
  • Depending on how you remind yourself depends also on how you treat it (e.g: If you only have one reminder for a party you may not get involved or stand out as much as if you remind yourself in many ways.)
  • If it's something like a release date then ask a friend or relative who just happens to be a fan of that certain thing.
  • Sometimes things like e-mail programs will have a calendar that you can mark important dates in, like birthdays. They will send you an e-mail notice within 10 days so you can get a present.
  • A diary can assist with remembering things.
  • Don't let too much cross your mind.

Warnings

  • Don't have too much on your mind you will end up remembering something small and miss out on something big.
  • Don't forget something special it could cause trouble or lead to broken hearts.
  • People that you associate yourself with may be disappointed if you forget their birthday and you will whether you like it or not send the message that you don't care THAT much about them, ESPECIALLY close friends.

Interview : Interesting places in UiTM Jengka

First interview :

Assalamualaikum. I am Azelan from security department of UiTM. My opinion about UiTM is the best among Malay children. It is a university that defend children. It is also best in terms of management, administration. Universities that defend indigenous children is approximately ninety-eight percent is the son of earth, and the remaining two and three percent are indigenous.besides that, uitm MDAB has also implemented a program of the nation destiny that can produce excellent individuals through this program. This program can also produce excellent individuals from the poor families. There are also among the young of the less excellent in academic achievement can also be applied to uitmtherefore, when uitm applying such programs, many of the people who earned a degree and who made it to the master level and also has many phd program help the natives this we can see that many more children in this country successful

I represent the security, we feel proud to be employees of the uitmand we also helped students in terms of security managementuntil now, and the theft of student discipline students has dropped. students are more excellent in all aspects. We also feel satisfied with our joint efforts to help the students. Another aspect of students must take appropriate measures for realizing further of uitm goals. In my opinion the uitm also need to increase the infrastructure. For example, uitm need to provide more sophisticated science laboratories from now to enable students to make laboratory experimentsThis is also necessary for us to compete with other universities.

Second :

Mr Romizi bin Ab Rahman opinion about UiTM ;  "It is one line of universities that provide good opportunities for young generation to pursue their study in higher level of education, especially for Bumiputeras. Malays nowadays get into UiTM easily while me, the past generation would not stand a chance. Furthermore, when first I drove my niece to UiTM Jengka, the place is very big, sorrounding with nice landscape and good facilities. I am here to thanks UiTM for providing all those for young people now who one day will be our leader ,  hopefully!"

Third :

His name is Abd Razak, a teacher. He said "What best about UiTM is the study environment. Most of UiTM I had visit, the environment are very comfortable. The facilities is complete so it easier for student to study and get good CGPA."

Last :

Mrs. Masitah binti Haji Musa is also a teacher. What she thought about UiTM Jengka ; it is a peaceful place to study. You can definitely focus on our study without any disturbances. All the lecturers and staffs very friendly and easily approached. 'That what my daughter told me" she said.
